Aqua Sana Longford Forest is delighted to announce that it has won the award for ‘Best Spa’ at the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2020.

The winner of the category was chosen by readers of IMAGE magazine and IMAGE.ie, who voted in their thousands for their favourite spa.

The IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards, which took place virtually on Sunday 29 November, are a yearly highlight in Ireland’s beauty awards calendar and recognise the best of the industry. More than 500,000 members of the public cast their votes in the awards earlier in the year, after the awards were postponed from March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Aqua Sana Longford Forest, which opened in July 2019, was shortlisted in the awards’ Best Spa category, along with nine other spas.

Aqua Sana Manager, Caroline Newton, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named the Best Spa in Ireland, especially because we had only been open for six months when we were shortlisted! We’re really proud of our unique spa offering and this recognition is testament to the hard work of everyone at Aqua Sana Longford Forest, as well as a great boost to our teams, who are really missing being able to welcome guests to the spa right now.”

Aqua Sana is a luxurious spa nestled in the woodland of Center Parcs Longford Forest and offers a unique experience. Aqua Sana’s four spa zones and 21 experiences are all themed around the natural world.

The Nordic Forest takes its inspiration from Scandinavia and features an Alpine Steam Room, Nordic Sauna (with panoramic views of the woodland), an Ice Cave and a Scandinavian Snug, complete with flickering fire and cosy blankets.

The Volcanic Forest brings intense heat experiences, such as the Volcanic Steam Room and Lava Sauna, mixed with less intense, relaxing experiences such as the Fire Side Relax and Volcanic Mists shower experience.

The Hot Springs allows guests to get even closer to nature, with outdoor hot tubs nestled into the woodland and a Salt Steam Room, while the Treetop Nesting zone is all about relaxation, with a Forest Glade steam room and a range of relaxation areas.

The spa offers two unique experiences which cannot be found at any other Aqua Sana Spas – the first is Forest Awakening, a mindful garden walk, allowing time for reflection. The second, the Light Relax Room, is a beautiful room filled with greenery, with a skylight flooding the room with natural light, and the sound of trickling water to calm the mind.

The spa offers a selection of treatments from renowned product houses VOYA, Elemis, Mii and OPI.

Aqua Sana Longford Forest, along with Center Parcs Longford Forest, is currently closed until at least 17 December. To find out more about Aqua Sana, visit www.aquasana.ie.
